(1) Clip Studio Paint has the manga creation tools like the frame and text balloons, it has the animation tools necessary for any animator. This obviously requires a bit more work and some knowledge of C++ and Qt coding, but in effect it means that there are almost no limits to what you, I, or anybody else can do. Understanding that SAI has a good stabilizer, Clip Studio Paint also has it and has the option of displaying in the form of slider and indicator.
#CLIP STUDIO PAINT VS PAINT TOOL SAI MODS#
Good luck and thanks for trying to spread the word about Krita!įinally, one of the things that makes Krita special is that it's open source, which means that anybody is free to go into the program's source code and make any mods or changes that they want. That's probably a bit beyond what you're looking to do, but it's just something cool about Krita that most other programs cannot say! =] Final Verdict: Clip Studio Paint is more appropriate variant in comparison to Paint Tool SAI as it includes a wide range of special effects and cartoon characters to choose from, as well as advanced drawing features including zooming, rotating, skewing, skewering, blurring and anti-aliasing. This obviously requires a bit more work and some knowledge of C++ and Qt coding, but in effect it means that there are almost no limits to what you, I, or anybody else can do.
If not, maybe you can share the one that you create!įinally, one of the things that makes Krita special is that it's open source, which means that anybody is free to go into the program's source code and make any mods or changes that they want. I don't know for sure, but it's also possible that somebody online has already made a Krita workspace or shortcut set that's close to what you want. For software, I use many different ones, including Photoshop, ZBrush, Maya, Clip Studio Paint, SketchUp, Paint Tool SAI, etc. Then you can save both the workspace and the keyboard shortcut set and share them with your friend. You can also edit keyboard shortcuts to make things even more like what they're used to. You can remove dockers or add extra dockers from the Settings > Dockers menu. You can do this by clicking on the title bar/name tag of any existing docker and dragging to a different edge of the screen. The easiest way is to get something close to what you want by rearranging all of the "dockers" (little windows) in a way that's similar to whatever program they're used to.
